BayCare is currently in search of our newest Patient Advocate to join the Surgical Services team who is passionate about providing outstanding patient care and customer service to the community we serve!
We are looking to fill a Patient Advocate position at St. Anthony's Hospital in St. Petersburg Florida.
Title: Patient Advocate
Responsibilities:
- Creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere for patients and families as they enter the hospital through Ambulatory Surgery and the Emergency Department.
- Provides the emotional support to patients and families upon their arrival to the hospital.
- Collaborates and works well with a team
- Must have interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Adapts well to change
- Possesses computer skills appropriate to the position

- Required – High School or Equivalent
- Preferred – Bachelor's in Social Services or Related Field
Experience:
- Required – 2 years – Customer Service
