RB SPARE PARTS TECH I [Day Shift]

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

**This position will be: Day shift, 6am to 2:30pm during 3-4 month training period, and then moving to 8am to 4:30pm regular shift thereafter***

The primary responsibilities of this role, RB SPARE PARTS TECH I, are to:

• Contribute in daily activities to ensure maintaining of department Key Performance Indicators (KPI) metrics;
• Escalate any database errors or technical questions to manager;
• Communicate via email or phone, any missing deliveries, incorrect parts (blocked stock) or missing documentation to appropriate procurement designee;
• Receive through Good Receipt (GR) process, all deliveries of spare parts and maintenance materials, label and properly store;
• Complete, utilizing Continuous Cycle Counting methods to maintain a high level of inventory accuracy;
• Maintain all inventory storage locations in a clean, orderly, and audit ready condition;

• Ensure proper Good Issue (GI) of materials used, by entering work order or cost center of appropriate departments into Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS);
• Follow all designated department SOPs to perform all job functions;
• Ensure proper disposal or recycling of all scrap or expired materials;
• Follow all appropriate site wide GMP and Safety SOP to perform duties onsite;
• Perform other duties as assigned;

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma, or GED, with at least three years of experience or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience in inventory control/warehouse, inventory management and computer inventory control;
• Read, write, speak, and comprehend English in order to understand written and verbal instructions, SOP’s, etc.;
• Follow directions, written or verbal and be proficient in math;
• Acceptable attendance and performance;
• Work weekends, holidays and overtime as required;
• A valid California Driver’s License;
• Able to attain a forklift operator’s license;
• Excellent administrative and organizational skills, and attention to detail;
• Effectively work both independently and self-directed with minimum supervision and in a team environment;
• Mechanical aptitude, will be assessed during the interview process;
• Job skill proficiency assessed by curricula completion in accordance with the Spare Parts Technician Curricula Plan – and required OJT;
• Employee’s ability to independently demonstrate execution of Goods Receipt process, Goods Issue process and Cycle Counting process in accordance with the Standard Operational Procedures (SOP);
• Demonstrated proficiency in assisting customers with SAP database searches in the areas, SAP part number searches, Manufacturing part number or description searches in SAP, BOM and task list searches in relation to inventory;
• Individual to lift up to 50 lbs. and push/pull up to 650 lbs. with assistance;
• Individual climb up to 20 feet and work from ladders;
• Individual to withstand extensive standing and walking;
• Individual to withstand frequent repetitive movement, stooping, crouching, kneeling, climbing, and sitting;
• Individual to wear protective clothing (PPE) as required;
• Individual to identify color-coded labels;
• Meet Occupational Demands/Physical Requirement checklist.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP inventory control knowledge;
• Hepatitis B vaccine.
