Manager- Personalization

NOTE: Personalization and Omnichannel experience is Mandatory. Also, it is a 100% onsite role in Kat TX. 

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or relevant field of study required.

Work Experiences:

• 5 years of experience in personalization, email marketing, loyalty, app or payment marketing, web design, project management or production management
• Experience managing multiple web and design projects and vendor partners.

• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with individuals at various levels, both internal and external
• Analytical, with strong problem-solving abilities and creative resolution skills
• Self-motivated, with the ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to remain organized, pay strict attention to detail, and meet critical deadlines within a high volume, fast-paced environment
• Strategic thinker
• Acceptable level of hearing and vision to perform job duties

Responsibilities:

• Partner across departments within Academy Sports Outdoors and external suppliers to ensure Omnichannel design assets are developed and delivered with quality, value, and on-time.
• Energize and lead both the internal team and external design resources from idea phase to commercialization.
• Regularly review the status of projects with appropriate leadership to verify that Company expectations are met.
• Develop strategy and multi-year plan personalization on Academy.com and for site ops team.
• Manage team to lead and drive personalization on site.
• Partner across teams on personalization experience both on site and through marketing campaigns, to ensure a cohesive vision, look, and feel.
• Develop and execute testing (A/B) strategies for the site.
• Move Academy.com towards a fully personalized experience.
• Responsible for managing select vendor relationships.
• Production management: Focus on continually improving efficiency in our design team and how we accomplish design projects.
• Document personalization and design processes and deliverables.
• Build project plans and proposals and present to management.
• Work closely with business owners, your team, developers, and analysts to develop and improve customer's experience on company's website.
• Identify areas for website improvement and manage projects to improve and optimize site experience and results.
• Develop a thorough understanding of Academy's policies, procedures, and safety rules.
• Duties may change; team members may be required to perform other duties as assigned.
