Job Duties
- Manage day to day Company IT infrastructure
- Design stable, reliable and effective databases
- Optimize and maintain legacy systems
- Modify databases according to requests and perform tests
- Work to improve applications and establish best practices
- Provide end-of-week summary written report to Employee’s supervisor by email listing all significant incidents and repairs
- Perform data and document searches and reports when requested by Employee's supervisor and Company’s officers, directors and other management.
- Gather user requirements and identify new features
- Develop technical and training manuals
- Provide data management support to users including permissions, recovery, security and monitoring
- Ensure all database programs meet company and performance requirements
- Research and suggest new database products, services and protocols
- Manage company asset set up and tracking including computers, phones, alarm system, security system, and office electronics and systems
- Provide help desk services for local and remote staff
- Provide software development and user interface web and mobile applications
- Communicate effectively with vendors, customers and Enable Energy personnel
- Troubleshoot, analyze and solve IT related operational issues
- Work closely with the O & M Department on all asset management related issues
- Manage company implementations of software and protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, specializing in Information Technology, Computer Science/Studies, Software/Computer Engineering or other related fields preferred
- 1-2 years related experience in the field of Information Technology
- Ability to utilize web tools and on-line industry resources, to implement and manage web projects, to gather on-line marketing knowledge, to keep informed on industry trends
- Highly proficient with MS Office Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Highly proficient with computer hardware, software systems, and programs
- Must have experience with computer networks, network administration, network installation and computer troubleshooting
- Excellent team building skills, analytical and problem solving skills, decision making skills
- Must be able to learn and adapt to new technology
