SUMMARY:
The Territory HRIS Director will be responsible for all technical and operational functions of the organization’s HRIS and is responsible for ensuring that technology solutions and infrastructure are aligned with HR and leadership’s long-term strategy. The HRIS Director will compile reports, analyze and synthesize data in order to communicate key HR metrics to various corporate departments and stakeholders. This is accomplished by providing the framework to ensure all employee information is as accurate as possible, designing and maintaining reports, disseminating information to appropriate sources, making program changes to database, administering security setup, troubleshooting problems, documenting procedures, and continuously looking for new ways to automate processes.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Acts as system administrator, along with other members of the HRIS team, for UKG HRIS: configuration, business processes, security, notifications, data entry and integrity, employee self-service, auditing and data quality management, and creation and maintenance of data feeds.
· Acts as a subject matter expert for HR and payroll taxation functional areas by translating business needs into technology solutions.
· Analyzes and synthesizes data into business reports that can be distributed within HR as well as to the business leaders and the field
· Continually streamlines HR business processes through use of technology and proactively works to improve reporting and delivery processes considering all available technologies.
· Provides training and procedures for HR representatives, along with other HRIS team members, to populate required data fields and provide access and training to run reports.
· Works with Benefits Director to create data feeds with benefits vendors to automate processes, and to configure HRIS for benefits enrollments
· Partners with the HR leadership, and other stakeholders to understand business processes and needs in order to develop strategic technology goals to support HR operations.
· Ensures configuration of UKG HRIS so that accurate compliance related reporting is achieved (PPACA, EEO-1, VETS 4212, OFCCP, and APP related reporting).
· Provides oversight for all HR Department technology projects and decision-making authority for escalated HRIS project management issues
· Serve as strategic liaison between various departments, including Command and Field Units, in the continuous evaluation, identification, selection and administration of HRIS solutions.
· Develops, presents and recommends Territory wide HRIS strategy to leadership and HR Team.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:
· Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, IT, or a related field preferred. SHRM-SCP, SPHR, and CPP Certification highly desirable.
· Prior experience with UKG implementation from beginning to full utilization of all key functions in a large, complex, diverse environment, acting as an HR subject matter expert.
· Minimum 10 years’ relevant work experience in an HR management role.
· Employee and project management experience with demonstrated ability to provide leadership on large and complex enterprise projects from start to finish.
· Experience writing reports in HRIS reporting modules (Cognos Business Intelligence preferred).
· A ‘systems’ thinker with a process orientation and significant attention to detail.
