Under the direction of the Director of Group Sales Operations, the Manager External Group Sales Operations is responsible for the management of administrative and operational functions related to external group sales operations. This role serves as a liaison for activities relating to group enrollment functions, systems, and administration support on corporate initiatives. Are you ready to make a difference? The salary range for this role is a good faith estimate, it is estimated based on what a successful candidate might be paid. All offers presented to candidates are carefully reviewed to ensure fair, equitable pay by offering competitive salaries that align with the individual's skills, education, experience, and training. The range may vary above or below the stated amounts. What you’ll do Leads the efforts to research, develop, and provide input regarding sales operations, ensuring sales processes and systems are functioning efficiently and effectively. Works with cross-divisional teams to implement process improvement initiatives and remediate issues. Facilitates projects for External Group Sales via Interactive representation and direction. Develops and implements efficient and effective workflow processes and procedures. Coordinates and communicates policies and procedures affecting the Sales and Operations Division, including field staff. Requests, reviews, and provides recommendations for external sales marketing materials, USPS mailings, and email materials Acts as liaison between external sales teams and internal stakeholders for reported issues or needed improvements. Responsible for active participation and collaboration to achieve beneficial resolution. Manages BCBSKS compliance with KID requirements relating to producer appointments for all sales teams. Coordinates all Continuing Education for Kansas Insurance Department requirements and reporting to State Based Systems for all sales teams. Develops yearly goals for external sales consultants and advisors under limited supervision of the Director of Group Sales Operations Participates in the development of the external sales operation budget and responsible for operating within budget guidelines. Participates in the planning and coordination of bi-annual Statewide Conferences and sales awards banquet. What you need Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing or related, with 3 years of industry or similar experience with a background in developing company policies and administrative procedures. In lieu of bachelor's degree, 4 years of experience is required. Previous supervisory or leadership experience Three years’ experience related to sales, marketing, marketing communications, customer service, membership, claims, or finance. Ability to obtain a State of Kansas Insurance License within 60 days of hire. Must have and maintain a valid Driving License. Must possess excellent project management and organizational skills. Required to sign non-compete agreement.
