Measure Technician – Windows & Doors Division
The Measure Tech takes project specific direction from the Director of Operations for HPA’s Window and Door Division. The Measure Technician will apply technical construction measurement standards to complete pre-installation measures, confirming the Direct Sales Associate’s quote prior to product being ordered by the Director of Operations. Ability to read a tape measure and other measuring devices.
Principle Responsibilities:
- Always provide excellent customer service.
- Perform all pre-installation Hurricane Impact and Non-impact Window and Door measurements.
- Accurately complete and submit all necessary paperwork, blueprints, and photos.
- Possess the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
- Performs any other necessary task assigned by the supervisor or company in support of company goals or assistance with customer issues.
- Meet company safety requirements by keeping work area neat and clean, following safety precautions, and wearing required safety apparel (i.e., shoes, safety glasses, fall protection, etc.), and reporting any safety issues to the manager.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must have a clean driving record and approval of HPA’s Insurance to drive a company vehicle.
- Comfortable working indoor/outdoor environment on customers' property; In state travel required.
- Minimum of One (1) year of Hurricane Impact and Non-impact window and door installation and/or service experience. Prior knowledge of general construction applications and terminology and/or Hurricane Impact and Non-impact window and door applications or components is desired.
Physical & Risk Effort:
Specific physical abilities required by this job include:
- Regularly: stand, walk, using hands to finger, handle, type and/or feel, reaching with hands and arms in front of body and above the shoulders. Repetitive body motions may be required.
- Occasionally: sit, stoop, crouch lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
