Job Description Summary
Reporting to the Associate Director of Marketing Analytics, the Allocation Analyst is responsible for managing the US MDS order allocation, escalation, and mass move processes.The Allocation Analyst ensures proper product allocation execution through matching of supply and demand between multiple distribution sites and customers while following direction provided by partner teams.
The Allocation Analyst also needs to provide operational support, critical information about inventory levels, product availability at the distribution centers, customer order requests and elevates any issues to the backorder management team for resolution.
This position is a full time position.

Responsibilities Include:
The allocation Specialist is in charge of monitoring and maintaining the amount of product available for customers to purchase.
Analyzes backlog data and allocation direction to execute through SAP with minimal supervision and in support of operational metrics.
Proactively communicates to partner team’s status updates, issues encountered, and trends.
Resolves cross-functional requests submitted by various channels. Partners cross-functionally to fix issues gating customer shipments.
Run SAP report for open orders on manual allocation items and distribute daily to stakeholders; make updates to the report to add/remove items as needed.
Manage allocations mailbox and requests from sales support and marketing
Provide ETA on inventory availability
Run open order report, review, and identify what orders to move
Create spreadsheet of identified orders and items to move and save on SharePoint site for customer service to execute.
Respond to planner requests for order movement due to inventory imbalances
Run open order's report for items imbalanced between DCs and identify what orders to move.
Confirm back to planner on actions taken
Request DC to move product when inventory is in the incorrect storage location
Participate in conference calls with key stakeholders to review item status for allocation and back ordered items
Participate on special projects related to special handling of inventory; work with sales, sales support, marketing and planners to ensure customer satisfaction
Maintain records in a manner that support reporting of key performance indicators to leadership.
Collaborate with and provide back up for other Allocation Analyst(s).

EDUCATION, LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS
Associates Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
EXPERIENCE, SPECIAL SKILLS
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in customer service or sales administration.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Excel
SAP experience
Relevant continuing education (e.g., workshops, seminars).
Excellent interpersonal skills to be able to communicate with internal groups and various levels of management.
Occasional overtime required
