Within the Business Process Optimization & Operations function, the Business Process Optimization Specialist supports the Integrated Solutions function, and broader GCS organization by identifying, facilitating, and contributing to people, process, and technology projects utilizing lean methodologies, analytics, project management best practices, functional knowledge (e.g. service operations, sales operations), and business acumen. Their focus will be: conducting strategic analytics, supporting transformational process improvements, and innovating to exceed industry best practice.To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone who is:

Overall Responsibilities:
The overall responsibilities of the Business Process Optimization Specialist include:

Strategy & Process Improvement:
Support the identification, design, and execution of strategic and continuous improvement mapping projects
Support process mapping activities to understand current and ideal states, and conduct gap analyses and provide recommendations to drive transformation
May facilitate scoping, research, business case creation, and prioritization to create roadmaps & milestones within a specific workstream with stakeholders, and constructively challenges to reduce complexity and establish scope
Use data insights, industry trends and discoveries, and process knowledge and critical thinking to identify process improvement opportunities that will help inform transformational visions/roadmaps
Facilitate risk / benefits sizing assessments, providing inputs to leadership for strategic planning
Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to recommend insights and solutions to functional leadership on strategic directions
Strategic Analysis:
Conduct analyses to provide strategic recommendations on KPIs and targets to drive business performance and drive execution of process improvements to meet performance and experience targets
Conduct data driven deep dives to understand trends, root causes, and work with functional leaders and stakeholders to create actionable recommendations and plans to address to improve performance and scalability
Identify and monitor key measures to ensure project success and prepares project team and functional level project status reports
Identify methodologies to measure and track key performance indictors in alignment with industry standards
Benchmark support practices to industry averages, and partner with the business on creating data driven plans to drive evolution
Driving Transformation:
Support the creation and adoption of execution strategies, inclusive of needs / audience based communications and workstream level change management plans, project review meetings, and action item delegation and tracking
Support operational rigor within the business through the planning and facilitation of ongoing leadership operations and strategic meetings governance
Partner with key team members and stakeholders to ensure timely and successful project completion to meet identified goals, controlling scope and expectations across the project / program / portfolio
Develop presentations that deliver succinct/concise recommendations to the management team, providing recommendations with clear rationale & justifications
Support the identification of long term strategy for initiative ownership and adoption within the business
Able to quickly corral and maintain focus in a rapidly changing environment, and can navigate changing business needs in targeted timeframes
Administrative/Other:
Timely completion of internal company documentation.
Timely completion of any Company or Department required training.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
2 or more years experience in process improvement, operational excellence, project management and / or strategic analytics functions
Prior experience facilitating continuous improvement and transformation initiatives cross-functionally in an iterative, fast paced environment desired.
High analytical competency in analyzing complex data sets and producing visualizations using tools such as Excel, Tableau, Salesforce, Power BI, and SQL.
Specific prior knowledge and experience with Field Service, Support, Operations, or related functional process improvements and system implementations desired
Strong MS office skills particularly in advanced PowerPoint, Excel, and Power BI
Strong analytical, problem-solving, verbal, listening and interpersonal skills.
Excellent Verbal, Written and Communication Skills.
Strong group facilitation and project management skills.
Experience with large technology implementations desired.
Certifications & Education:
Bachelor’s degree required.
Certification in Change Management, Lean Six Sigma, or PMP highly desirable
Location & Travel:
Position based in San Diego, flex hybrid schedule
Travel up to 10%.
