The Lead Change Coordinator, reports directly to the Quality Manager, Quality Systems. Coordinates the Engineering Change Request/Order process within SAP, to include interaction with associates at all levels. Ensures all required information/data is present in the ECR/O and administers the effectivity dates of objects being revised. Performs administrative functions including the use of computer applications for word processing, spreadsheet and data base, optical computerized imaging system, and other general office equipment such as calculator, copier, telecommunication and mailing systems. Leads and directs the activities of the Change Coordinators
Essential Functions:
Provides administrative support to ECRO originators in preparation/routing/approval of objects and ECROs in ECC6 SAP System. Reviews proposed changes to ensure correct use of standard formats and conventions.
Administers the Engineering Change Order (ECO) process. Responsibilities include: collaborating with Division and plant personnel to coordinate ECO's; verifying that ECO's and all documentation conform to policies and procedures and use the correct formats; ensuring that appropriate plant personnel are notified of released ECO's and all applicable documentation.
Coordinates and maintains Device Master Documents and Plant and Departmental Policies/Procedures. Reviews proposed changes to ensure correct use of standard formats and conventions.
Coordinates and conducts Document Management System training for new Sumter associates as necessary. Conduct training and/or notifies Sumter document control system users on upgrades/enhancements.
Establishes and maintains the SAP production data base as authorized by ECO release for Document Info Records, material and document BOM’s (bill of materials).
Plant Coordinator for BOM changes that affects the Sumter plant by working closely with the Unit and other plants, MDO, Purchasing and Planning to ensure applicable BOMs, routers, task lists, inspection plans, etc. are identified and processed accordingly in the Document Management System.
Prepares documents for archiving by collating and reviewing QA inspection documents, production process records, laboratory results, PM housekeeping/cleaning records and sterilization records.
Archives DHR’s using optical/computerized imaging system. Maintains archives in an orderly fashion to facilitate search and retrieval of records in a timely manner.
Provides administrative support in document retrieval for complaint analysis, compliance audits and requests from other functional areas as required.
Directs the reporting of service calls for repairs and changes to telephone service, photocopiers, postal and imaging system service suppliers.
Provides training, coaching and leadership for/of the site Change Coordinator.
Regularly required to take a leading role, such as assigning activities to other associates who perform work that is similar or closely related to this position.
Additional Responsibilities:
Operates within the Safety and QSR guidelines of BD-Sumter.
Performs miscellaneous duties as required by management.
Minimum Requirement:
Associates Degree required and Major: Secretarial Science or Business Management preferred
Minimum of 2 years experience with Doc Management, Office Management
2 years of ERP experience required, SAP and APRISO preferred
MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) required
Fully describe the type of knowledge, skills, or abilities required: (e.g. tools, equipment, hardware or software).
Possess a thorough working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and other computer-based application
Working knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning Systems and Document Management Systems
Coordinator or Lead Person experience preferred
Must be able to multi-task, possess excellent communication skills and work independently
