We are a small construction showroom company looking to hire a Showroom Sales Rep./Office Assistant to help with day to day operations. This is a construction environment, you have to have thick skin, want to help out where needed and excellent problem-solving abilities to excel in this role. The ability to multitask is key.
MUST BE WILLING TO DO ALL JOBS IN THE OFFICE THAT NEED DOING. Work 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week, Tuesday through Friday from 9-4:30 and Saturday from 9-2.
Job Responsibilities:
* Assist with project organization, meeting preparation, email follow up, scheduling, etc.
* Must be able to work independently as well as in a team setting.
* Answer office phones.
* Maintain project folders.
* Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving products and services
* Data entry, maintains records, filing, and scanning.
* Track orders and deliveries for all projects (material ordering experience a plus).
* Ability to manage sometimes difficult homeowners
* Greet visitors, present products in Showroom
* Obtain customer information to assist in the creation of estimates
* Enter information for invoices.
* Sell remodeling products from the showroom or an entire project
* Create 3D designs (easy to lean software)
* Educate on Youtube about construction and products
* Positively and energetically engage with customers to promote product
* Make coffee, maintain clean office, vacuum, organize, etc.
* Additional tasks include running errands to pick up material, lunch for the office, or assistance at project sites. (You will be paid for mileage)
* Willingness to help anywhere needed.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in customer service and floor sales or other related fields
Ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage time effectively
Positive and professional demeanor
Excellent written and verbal communication skill
High School Diploma or equivalent
Excellent grammar, punctuation, spelling and proofreading skills
Intermediate knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft
Administrative/Office Assistant and Floor Sales Experience- 1 year minimum
