Overview:
Be Well Solutions is a comprehensive wellness company headquartered in Solon, Ohio. Be Well Solutions specializes in full-service wellness including biometric screenings, health risk assessments, wellness programming and intervention, compliance tracking and aggregate reporting. Founded in 2005, we are a national wellness company, serving both large and small organizations.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in biometric screenings (reviewing biometric numbers with participants in individual and group settings)
- Responsible for evaluating and educating participants on their biometric numbers. Biometric numbers include:
- Blood Glucose
- Total Cholesterol
- LDL Cholesterol
- HDL Cholesterol
- Total Cholesterol / HDL Cholesterol Ratio
- Triglycerides
- Blood Pressure
- BMI and Weight
- Registered Dietitian must be able to:
- Critically evaluate the participants biometric numbers
- Educate the participant on the meaning of the biometric numbers
- Educate the participant on an interpretation of their specific numbers
- Provide general lifestyle recommendations to help the participant improve biometric numbers and help prevent chronic disease
- Continue education on chronic disease prevention and the impact of the biometric numbers in relation to disease prevention
Required Education, Experience and Qualifications
- Maintains current license to practice dietetics in the current state (LD) and active certification as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN), Master’s Degree preferred
- At least 1-year experience as a practicing Registered Dietitian.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Fluency with State healthcare laws (i.e. HIPPA, OSHEA)
- Willingness to multi-task and uphold the standards for treatment at the practice
- Excellent communications skills
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a PRN position. Early morning and late evening hours may be required for client health screening events. Local travel required. Travel outside of Northeast Ohio up to 25%.
