What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patent Paralegal position at Beacon Hill Staffing Group?
- Supports high profile client, patent portfolio, only supports one client, dedicated to client management, need good client skills, and doing pros work for that client, need someone who is high functioning, independent, and tech savvy, they have their own in house docket management system and client has their own system they need to enter, so need to be able to pick things up fast, expert attention to detail, center of getting everything through for the client, needs to help with delegating docket mail, office actions to associates, tracks deadlines, project management who's working on what, have main partner that manages this client, works closely with him to make sure on top of deadlines, weekly docket calls with team to go over where things stand with client, partner this will be his right hand, really leans heavily on this paralegal to help keep things afloat for client, so soft skillset is needed - important this person functions high level and independent, attention to detail
- Need ability to take ownership
- Programs tused: Foundation IP, Symphony is what client use (that's customized) - proficient with outlook, microsoft applications, helpful for tech base, the one there uses onenote to manage things
- Paralegal cert or bach degree ideally required
