Responsibilities
- Facility on-boarding for new hires to include orientation, I9 & E-Verify completion.
- Participate in bi-weekly and monthly payroll processing to audit data to ensure all changes are correct.
- Improves manager and employee performance by identifying and clarifying problems; evaluating potential solutions; implementing selected solution;
coaching and counseling managers and employees.
- Provide HR support to managers & employee groups by addressing HR questions and providing appropriate information
- Work with outsourced leave administrator to administer the leave of absence process
- Manage the annual hourly performance management compensation cycle, training and development, progression process, etc.
Ensure competitive and consistent pay practices, promotions and progressions based on internal and external data.
- Employee database management to include : data entry and maintenance for US based employees, data integrity audits, pulling reports from database and assisting managers with the web interface Self Service.
- Develop human resources solutions by collecting and analyzing information; recommending courses of action.
- Create and deliver training as needed, to include front line leadership training and new hire orientation
- Support, participate, and strictly adhere to site standards, policies and procedures relevant to safety, industrial hygiene, security / CTPAT requirements and environmental.
- Maintain and report on HR KPIs for internal and external audits
- Participate on safety committees
- Participation in special projects as needed
Supervisory Responsibility : None
Education and Experience
3 years of HR experience, preferably working for a global company in a manufacturing environment
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, or related field
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
- Microsoft Office w / strong Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong knowledge of HRIS systems to include ADP-WFN
- Payroll or finance background desired
- Experience with E-Verify
- Strong analytical skills and attention to details
- Strong communication skills to include both verbal and written
- Understanding of employment law and other government compliance regulations
- Strong track record of delivering viable solutions to the organization to drive an inclusive, diverse work environment, balancing both employee and business needs
- Strong interpersonal and communication experience with the ability to interact with a diverse population
- Strong advocate for maintaining confidentiality
