Job Description
Top Skills & Years of Experience:
o 2-5 years' experience in ServiceNow administrator role.
o Experience implementing enterprise software (ideally ITIL or ITSM related).
o Advanced knowledge of ServiceNow administration and experience developing ServiceNow applications
o Experience with ITSM best practices.
o Strong interpersonal and communication skills with written and verbal English language proficiency
o Good time management skills
o Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
o Ability to coordinate closely with IT management, team members and Agency personnel
Primary technical skill sets, and experience include:
o Administrate, maintain and support the ServiceNow platform and modules such as Service Catalog, Event, Incident, Problem, Change, Release, Asset and CMDB, Discovery, Knowledge, Workflows, Service Catalog and Self-Service Portal.
o Configure and deploy new functionality using ServiceNow and related web technologies.
o Understand business requirements and design solution to fit them using service-now modules and custom apps.
o Ensure appropriate SDLC/Devops process is adhered to when promoting updates through the development/test/production environment.
o Experience in working with UI, Workflow and Application development activities; facilitating rollouts of new applications, enhancements and new modules. Client Scripts, UI policies, UI Actions, Script Includes, Business Rules, workflow administration, report setup, and data imports.
o Hands-on experience developing and customizing and/or extending the following ServiceNow features:
o Scripting server-side scripts
o Workflow – creating and updating
o Creation and update of catalog items
o Notifications
o Data loading, mapping, and transforming
o Approval steps
o Client-side scripts
o Dashboards
