Your Role
BeaconMedaes, located in Rock Hill, South Carolina is looking for a Logistics Manager to join our company. The Logistics Manager is responsible to coordinate and implement all the different aspects in the supply chain to add value to the customer, manage, and implement business intelligence reporting and actively contribute to sustainable profitable growth in the organization. Your mission will be to stabilize and administer all the logistic processes within the BeaconMedaes customer center to deliver on our customer first commitment, improve the specific flows of the company, evaluate and manage business intelligence reporting to achieve local target and to secure a global world class logistics.
This role reports to the VP Business Controller.
The Logistics Manager is in principle responsible for the following areas to support business development:
Customer first service- Implement and manage the Fast Response Center
- Inventory management all locations
- Order management function
- Manage purchasing and sourcing of materials
- Physical warehouse process
- Inbound transport and import administration process
- Outbound transport & shipping process (Export and Domestic)
- Logistics operations of regional warehouses and service contracts
- Service van pptimization
- Van stock return
- Freight recovery
- Master data business expert
- Improve return material authorization (RMA) tracking
- Business intelligence reporting and development
- People management
- Bring transparency in end to end process
- To ensure optimum and transparent cost allocation structure consistently
Logistics Manager is required to strictly comply to:
- Code of conduct
- Sustainability responsibility (environmental) - Logistics is responsible to maintain a healthy environment by reducing CO² emissions and packaging waste.
- Approval flow (Prokura)
All approval flow in logistics operations are straightly complied to prokura setup. Prokura highlights the limits of one’s authority to act towards third parties as well as the authority to act internally within the organization. Prokura is to be decided and delegated by the General Manager of customer centers. Logistics related activities should be mentioned in the prokura (but not limited to):
Stock adjustment- Scrap
- Stock replenishment or approve purchase order
- Call off material from local vendor
- Stock discrepancy
- Purchase price variance for external vendor / forwarder
- Approval of logistics related invoices
To succeed, you will need
Supervisory Experience
- In this role, you will supervise the Logistics Specialists , Buyer, Warehouse Support Technician, and Fast Response Center logistics/receiving/shipping team.
Job Experience
- 5 years in logistics, preferbly for a large, global organization
Education
- Bachehelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Skills
- Must have good knowledge of operational processes
- Must have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- SAP experierence preferred
- Must be able to work independently and possess a high level of initiative, commitment, and perseverence as well as strong team orientation and a focus on positive team building
- A valid driver's license is required
Travel
- Travel is required on occassion.

Salary : $74,700 - $94,600
