Job Overview: The Office Assistant completes a variety of tasks in order to streamline the day-to-day business operations of the Company. Duties include but are not limited to answering phone calls, coordinating incoming referrals, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance benefits, billing and securing payments, monitoring incoming and outgoing mail, maintaining files, and providing a positive customer service experience to clients. Additional tasks and projects may be assigned.This position requires traveling up to 10% of the time.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Answer phone calls and direct callers to the appropriate party.
- Coordinate incoming referrals in a timely manner.
- Provide real-time scheduling support by booking appointments.
- Verify insurance benefits.
- Greet and assist clients.
- Bill and secure payments and/or reimbursements.
- Process, sort, and route incoming and outgoing mail.
- Maintain Company and client files.
- Monitor and manage an inventory of office supplies.
- Proof of Covid-19 vaccination required.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in a related field.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in an office setting, preferably in an administrative or clerical role.
- Warm personality with a desire to create a positive experience for others.
- Excellent computer, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to multitask and prioritize work.
- Attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license and active auto insurance policy.
- Ability to use his/her own vehicle.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
