Looking to hire someone who is enthusiastic and is well rounded in beauty supply product knowledge. That person will take on the role of a Manager position, which will be responsible for the daily business operations of a retail store. General tasks include supervising employees, communicating with and helping customers and carrying out directives given by the store owner.
Manager duties and responsibilities
Managers achieve their goals and also ensure that all teams within a unit are functioning well. Their specific duties and the scope of work include:
- Developing key performance goals and managing the performance of staff
- Creating and implementing strategies for business growth
- Hiring, supervising, and training staff
- Managing weekly employee schedule
- Ensuring that store is delivering quality offerings to customers
- Working closely with staff to retain customers
- Developing new solutions to meet customer's needs
- Improving internal processes for better productivity
- Overseeing large projects and interpreting performance reports
- Managing the budget and monitoring the financial health of a location or business unit
- Collaborate with staff on setting and achieving team-specific goals
- Purchase inventory based on current trends, availability of new products and customer interest
- Display merchandise to maximize purchasing appeal
- Organize sales and product demonstrations
- Write sales and customer reports and make recommendations for improvements
- Interact with customers and resolve complaints or grievances
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of retail management experience
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and POS software
- Strong leadership skills with a proven track record in team management
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced retail environment
- Experience in purchasing, stocking, and retail sales
- Knowledge of beauty supply products and industry trends
- Bilingual or multilingual skills a plus
- Experience in conducting product demos
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
