Spencer's Steaks and Spirits is our fine-casual dining outlet located slopeside to Breckenridge Ski Resort. Providing a breakfast and lunch buffet with a seasonal menu and daily specials for dinner alongside an intimate, full-service lounge bar, Spencer's is a restaurant which offers high-quality food in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
What You'll Do:
The Spencer's Assistant Manager will support the Spencer's Manager in the day-to-day operations of Spencer's Steaks and Spirits. This position will act as the Manager on Duty in the absence of the Spencer's Manager. The Assistant Manager will help oversee scheduling, time and attendance, server section assignments, guest satisfaction, payroll, billing, purchasing orders, inventory, hiring, performance management, and department administration. The ideal candidate will have an exacting eye for detail; be passionate about great customer service; be knowledgeable about food, wine, and cocktails; stay current on industry trends; and remain positive in a fast-paced and occasionally stressful environment. Must be available and willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Full-time, year-round position with benefits eligibility.
Position starts at $55,000/yr DOE
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Act as Manager on Duty and resolve any guest questions or concerns

Assist Spencer's Manager in overseeing the outlet staff including:
- 3 Leads (Bartender, Server, Host)
- 10-15 Servers and Bartenders
- ~5 FOH Support Staff
- Manage scheduling, time and attendance, and payroll
- Train, develop, and manage the performance of staff
- Partner with Spencer's Manager and HR to hire staff
- Ensure proper adherence to company policies, procedures, and guidelines
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Oversee inventory, billing, purchasing orders, and other department administration
- Communicate with staff and other departments of any events, changes, or special considerations
- Partner with Spencer's Manager to prepare for large parties and events
- Maintain clean and presentable facilities and a consistent, high-quality product
- Support Front of House as needed (i.e., bussing, expediting, food running, hosting, etc.)
What You'll Bring:
- 2 years food and beverage experience - preferred
- 1 year supervisory/management experience - preferred
- ServSafe and TIPS certifications (or ability to obtain) - preferred
- Micros or NCR experience - preferred
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite - preferred
- Proficiency in written and spoken English - required
