Role Overview
This position is the primary HR interface and focal point for employees who are relocating to either a domestic or an international assignment location. Provides a broad range of HR services related to the end-to-end Bechtel Global Mobility Center (BGMC) functions.
Responsibilities:
Maintain frequent communication with transferring employees, explain relocation policies, and offer support and advice during the process
Prepare assignment documentation, including recitals and estimated assignment compensation calculations
Manage collection of applicable documents and submittals as appropriate
Coordinate service providers for household effects shipments, pre-assignment medical exams, tax services and others, as needed
Coordinate travel details and notifications to projects or receiving organizations
Monitors the entire process and continuously update mobility management software with the appropriate data
Follow up and resolve employee queries
Interface with other teams, including Expatriate Tax, HR Operations, Benefits, Payroll, Expense Management, etc.
Qualifications and Skills:
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor Level Degree in Human Resources, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
Advanced knowledge of MS applications, e.g., Word, Excel, Teams
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage high volume workload, with focus on data integrity
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to speak, read and write Spanish
Previous Human Resource Generalist experience and/or Global Mobility experience
