Job Summary:
We are seeking result-driven individuals to manage our fast-paced kitchen locations who can provide our guests with fast, friendly, and high-quality service. The Foodservice Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of FriendShip Kitchens and upholding FriendShip Kitchen standards and culture in all areas of foodservice operations. Responsibilities include maintaining profitability of all food service offerings, Wicked Awesome Customer Service (WACs), ensuring food safety and cleanliness, the training and development of kitchen associates, ordering product, and maintaining the daily paperwork.
Kitchen Manager Responsibilities:
· Train and develop the kitchen staff in all aspects of food service operations including food preparation and presentation, inventory control, customer service and suggestive selling.
· Ensure Wicked Awesome Customer Service (WACS) is being executed to our customers each day by greeting them with a smile and assisting with their food inquiries when necessary.
· Ensure all food items according to menu specifications.
· Ensure all food items are properly labelled and stored to maintain freshness and quality.
· Ordering, receiving, placing, monitoring, and replenishing foodservice items as needed.
· Ensure all inventory is properly organized.
· Identifies and communicates foodservice operational opportunities to Store Manager.
· Ensures work areas remain safe, clean, and orderly, adhering to all company, local, and state guidelines regarding health, safety, and sanitation.
· Work with the Kitchen associates to ensure proper deli food preparation, schematics, par sheets, replenishment, and storage procedures.
· Ensure high quality standard of food items from preparation to point of sale.
· Safely operate kitchen equipment and cutlery.
· Completes shift paperwork, build-to and order guides as needed.
· The Kitchen Manager is a hands-on position and will involve preparing food items, serving customers, operating registers, selling retail products, stocking inventory, cleaning facilities, and otherwise performing all store related functions that are required.

· Basic math and reading skills, legible handwriting, and attention to detail.
· Ability to perform under pressure and address complaints in a timely manner.
· Ability to work as part of a team and interact effectively with others.
· Availability to work flexible shifts.
· Ratings of assigned store, via Mystery Shopper and other independent store evaluation programs.

Requirements
· Available to work a variety of shifts and/or days of the week including, but not limited to, 2nd and 3rd shift and/or weekends, consistent with the demands of retail mentality
· High School Diploma or G.E.D.
· Preferred 1 year of experience in food service, restaurant, or at the C-Store of QSR level.
· Achieving ServSafe Certification Level 2

Walking, sitting, lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs., pushing and pulling, climbing, stooping, forward bending, squatting, reaching, use of fingers, exposure to hot and cold temperatures, weather, atmospheric conditions, and explosion hazard.
