Summary:
Meets the needs of inpatients and outpatients at the Rehoboth Surgical Hospital who require general US and/or vascular diagnostic studies.
Meets the needs of inpatients and outpatients at the Rehoboth Surgical Hospital who require general US and/or vascular diagnostic studies.
Other information:
Tech may be asked to cover other Beebe vascular/general US departments and participate in call rotations as needed.
Responsibilities:
Performs vascular testing and general US studies and measurements using the computer-assisted analysis package. Recognizes artifacts and technical problems and eliminates probable sources. Recognizes abnormalities and reports to physician in a timely manner. Adheres to established hospital and departmental policies, procedures, objectives, quality assurance programs, environment of care, and infection control. Prioritizes all procedures and situations within the department. Maintains equipment and requests necessary supplies. Actively participates in performance improvement process to include evaluating, reporting, and recommendations.

- ARDMS-RVT - Vascular Tech
- BLS - Basic Life Saving certification
