The Brand Manager will ensure successful brand-building throughout the Beechwood territory, effectively manage all assigned supplier relationships, and develop and implement sales and marketing plans. Responsible for delivering volume and profit goals for the assigned suppliers with an expectation of 1-2 days per week spent in retail market.

Essential Job Functions
Develop and maintain effective customer relations and promote the good will of the company throughout the trade area
Manage assigned suppliers to develop annual sales and marketing plans
Develop and grow favorable supplier relationships through effective communication and execution of sales plans
Manage SKUs for assigned suppliers, including product selections (additions and deletions), pricing, and profit margins
Track, measure, and report on sales and marketing plans
Identify and recruit new supplier partners for the company
Manage supplier launches, retailer events and brewery visits
Manage and conduct product knowledge training for assigned brands
Participate in the development of sales programming strategies
Assist Sales Management in the identification of gross profit enhancement opportunities as required
Effectively communicate assigned supplier sales related information to the entire company
Assist with the forecasting of seasonal and special-order products for assigned brands
Ensure successful sell-through of all seasonal and special-order products for assigned brands
Conduct monthly control and review sessions with Craft management and breweries
Conduct regular work-withs with BSS sales representatives
Conduct market work with Supplier representatives
Maintain awareness of industry trends and news and respond to new developments
Other duties as assigned
Essential Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in marketing, sales and management
Ability and willingness to work nights and weekends as needed
Some overnight Travel required
In-depth knowledge of Beer industry
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Excellent analytical abilities relating to sales and retail issues
Computer proficiency including use of Outlook, Excel, Power Point, and VIP/iDig
Ability and willingness to work independently
