Job Summary

Coordinate the safe and productive daily functioning of the warehouse in the shipment of orders

Enforce proper procedures regarding logging, storage, and loading or unloading of incoming inventory

Provide supervision and guidance to warehouse workers

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Lead the warehouse staff to ensure proper stock rotation and rework procedures are followed.

Delegate and prioritize the picking of customer orders.

Ensure all orders are shipped with the correct products, including all tinted orders.

Coordinate all shipping and receiving functions with trucking company representatives and the Corporate Transportation Department.

Release customer orders in the system "PGI".

Ensure all shipping and receiving SOPs are followed.

Key Holder Responsibilities.

Participate in department virtual meetings. Take actions as necessary.

Communicate with Sales regarding service reschedules.

Communicate with stores / customers regarding delivery issues.

Ensure all team members are following safety guidelines and SOP's.

Monitor and respond to all email correspondence in a timely and effective manner.

Monitor SAP transactions and take appropriate action.

Qualifications and Experience

Educational attainment equivalent to high school graduation

Considerable stock control and warehousing experience

Work in a lead or supervisory capacity

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

Possess a clear understanding of supervisory principles and techniques

Ability to communicate effectively

Ability to organize and delegate orders to meet deadlines and to coordinate shipping of products on time

Ability to demonstrate operation and use of forklift, deep reach, lift truck, pallet rider, shrink wrap machine, tint machine and paint shakers

Ability to train warehouse center staff

Possess extensive knowledge of warehouse equipment set-up operations and maintenance
