Multiphysics Modeling Engineer

A Multiphysics Modeling Engineer position is available with a manufacturing client in Miamisburg, Oh. The individual will :

RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Demonstrate high proficiency in numerical methods
* Use multiple computational modeling software packages proficiently (e.g. COMSOL, STAR-CCM , CST, Abaqus)
* Solve complex multiphysics problems in at least one of the following areas:
1.Fluid, thermal, and structural interactions
2.Coupled electromagnetics and fluid dynamics
3.Electromagnetics, materials, thermal, and structural interactions
4.Multi-scale materials property modeling
* Demonstrate a strong understanding of mathematics and physics as it applies to unique aerospace and defense engineering problems
* Leverage software tools such as Python, MATLAB, or equivalent programs
* Collaborate with R&D team to formulate conceptual design of products or systems to meet customer requirements
* Develop and execute technical tasks and objectives to meet customers" schedules and budgets
* Support business growth through active participation in bids and proposals

REQUIREMENTS:
* MS or PhD in Engineering or Physics from an accredited university is required
* Minimum 5 years Engineering or Physics experience in applied research and development is preferred
* Exclusive US citizenship is required
* Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance is required
* Perform in the fast-paced environment of a rapidly growing small business
* Work in a multi-disciplinary, team-oriented environment
* Participate in multiple technical programs at once (typically 3 or 4 programs simultaneously)
* Apply a get-it-done, and get-it-done-right mindset coupled with attention to detail
* Apply proactive and reactive problem-solving skills
* Communicate technical results, plans, and issues with internal and external customers, including presenting and writing reports and proposals
* Quickly understand new technology areas and manage and adapt to rapidly changing customer needs
