Job Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will implement product quality initiatives to improve customers" experience with hydraulic components and systems, increase reliability and durability, reduce warranty, and achieve various departmental quality objectives. The candidate must have excellent analytical skills and an extensive understanding of warranty, reliability, and Continuous Product Improvement (CPI) systems developed through assignments in either product support or CPI. Requires a self-starter with strong leadership skills. Must have ability to communicate information effectively with team members and others in the work group, as well employees in other units, customers, and suppliers.
-Implement Hydraulics Product Quality, lead Continuous Improvements projects. Defects reduction. Quality metrics reporting. Data analytics,
-Work with global team within US and internationally. Analysis defects, initiate projects, report on finding and follow up on action.
- Work closely with Hydraulic components and systems engineers. Part of Hydraulic Quality core team
Qualifications:
- Four years technical degree. Manufacturing, process, supply chain quality focus is a plus
- Deep understanding of product quality.. Understanding of design processes, manufacturing, process improvement
* 8-10 years experience required.
-Organized, written and verbal communication, persistent, analytics skills.
Desired
-Basic understanding of hydraulic or mechanical design
- Project management
