Job Description

6 : 00 am - 3 : 30 pm , we work 9 / 80 schedule. M-TH : 9 hours, Friday 8 hours, following week M-TH : 9 hours and Friday OFF

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Responsible for ensuring that Environmental, Health, and Safety are included as part of everyday activities.
• Participate in 5S cell efforts and continuous improvement.
• Identify improvement opportunities.
• Ability to lift up to and including 50 pounds.
• Utilization of proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for each task associated with the job.
• Ability to work safe and report all near misses, illnesses, and injuries following established procedures.
• Obtain and maintain Certified Operator Status to meet the required level of certified elements - 4
• Properly manage the traceability of components to ensure accuracy.
• This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

Qualifications and Experience

Required :

• Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience OR 1 year of military experience
• US Citizen or Permanent Resident

Preferred :

• HS Diploma or Associates Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Technology
• Assembly or Test experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, Cellular Manufacturing, One Piece Flow, and Continuous Improvement concepts
• Experience with various types of industrial machinery equipment and tools such as lathe"s, curing ovens, thermal and / or life cycling machines, sanding and industrial painting tools, as well as standard hand tools are a plus.
