Job Summary
Ensure efficient hatchery operations through monitoring incubating and hatching operations, troubleshooting and respond to immediate equipment issues. Follow strict biosecurity protocols. This is a shower-in facility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following: other duties may be assigned
Monitor and correct incubator and hatcher performance
Analyze and debug (trouble shoot) machine errors (alarms).
Support equipment "preventative maintenance program"
Perform calibration testing / adjustment on equipment
Document root cause / corrective actions and maintain equipment maintenance log
Maintain inventory control and submit PR's as needed for continued machine performance
Assist hatchery maintenance program
Fill-in as needed to support hatchery labor
Insure Bio-Security measures are maintained
Perform housekeeping duties as directed by hatchery supervision
Take a proactive role in assuring safe, quality products are produced by immediately addressing any safety or quality concerns.
Education and Experience (Due to the high volume of applicants, only those who meet the minimum qualifications will be selected for interviews):
High School education or GED.
Some post high school education preferred
6 months experience related experience preferred
FOOD SAFETY:
Take a proactive role in assuring safe, quality products are produced by immediately addressing any safety or quality concerns and this position serves as the back-up for QA Supervisor position.
