What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paralegal position at Bell Federal Systems Inc.?
BACKGROUND: The United States Attorney’s Office, District of Colorado (USAO) has a requirement for a contract Paralegal in their headquarters office in Denver, Colorado to support the Affirmative Civil Enforcement (ACE) program.
DUTIES: Paralegal will load, organize, and process incoming electronically stored information (ESI), documents, and other discovery produced in ACE investigations and cases using automated software systems; assist in tracking, organizing and managing documents in document review platforms such as Everlaw, Relativity and Eclipse by performing a wide variety of tasks such as assisting and training Assistant United States Attorneys (AUSAs) and agents in gaining access to and using those platforms, creating complex searches and queries, creating tags, and assisting in production of documents from those databases; review and analyze documents in document review platforms, and then create written summaries or chronologies of those documents; and assist AUSAs with trial preparation and running trial presentation software.
QUALIFICATIONS: A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and an undergraduate degree is a plus. Strong work ethic, keen organizational skills, writing skills, and attention to detail are essential. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.), Adobe, Everlaw, Eclipse, Relativity, Trial Director, and CaseMap is a plus.
