Description
Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of the client intake process for cases.
Evaluate potential new cases , collecting relevant information and documentation.
Conduct initial client interviews and gather pertinent details related to potential cases.
- Collaborate with attorneys to determine the viability of prospective cases. - Maintain a well-organized and easily accessible system for tracking and storing intake information.
Liaise with medical professionals for insights and clarifications where necessary.
Ensure timely follow-ups with prospective clients and internal team members.
Assist in drafting retainer agreements and necessary documentation.
- Continuously enhance the intake process for efficiency and effectiveness. - Stay updated with legal regulations and changes within the realm of medical malpractice.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Legal Assistant, Paralegal, required
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Proficiency in legal documentation and understanding of civil and criminal laws.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Proficiency in using legal software and tools.
A paralegal certificate or equivalent preferred.
Adaptable and flexible to varying client needs and changing requirements
