Welcome Home! Our Human Resources team is expanding, and looking for the right candidate to join the Belmark family. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will help recruit, interview and screen candidates for positions open within the company. In this role you will work closely with managers and supervisors to find ideal candidates for their positions. At Belmark, we understand our culture is critical to our success. As part of the HR department you will help promote and foster the Belmark culture through hiring techniques and interactions with managers & employees.
Position Overview:
- Interview applicants and gather information regarding education, experience, training, job skills and salary requirements.
- Schedule follow up interviews with company supervisors and/or managers.
- Check credentials, references, and drug testing information to selected candidates for hire.
- Provide offers of employment to selected candidates.
- Utilize applicant tracking system to manage database of applications, communicate effectively to applicants, and provide offers of employment.
- Foster relationships with department supervisors to support multifaceted recruitment program.
- Provide information on the company, its policies, benefits and available opportunities to agencies and candidates.
- Maintain knowledge of developments in employment law and ensures adherence to legislative requirements and company polices.
- Make recommendations for improvement of company’s hiring procedures and practices.
- May assist with company tours and community events surrounding Belmark recruiting initiatives.
Position Requirements:
- Requires education as is generally acquired in four (4) years of college with a Bachelors degree in Human Resources or Business Administration; and/or four (4) years of recruiting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
- Knowledge of and ability to speak the English language fluently.
- Must understand people and be able to communicate and answer questions in a professional and friendly manner
- Ability to give, receive and analyze information, formulate work plans, prepare written materials and articulate goals and action plans.
