POSITION SUMMARY
The Milieu Coordinator is a member of the interdisciplinary team who assists in total client care through implementation of appropriate interventions within the therapeutic environment. The primary responsibilities include the provision of a safe and therapeutic milieu, crisis intervention and coaching in the moment. The Milieu Coordinator is additionally responsible for the implementation of programs, training and patient care. The Milieu Coordinator will collaborate with the Lead Technicians under the supervision of the Charge Nurse.

Qualifications
Education
BA or BS Degree in a related mental health field is preferred.
Experience
Two (2) years experience in a mental health setting preferred.
Licensure/Certification
Successful completion of CPR certification, age-specific training and the current patient aggression management training, including appropriate use of Seclusion and Restraint, within 90 days of employment.
Additional Requirements: Must maintain a valid driver’s license and complete CPR certification and Crisis Intervention Training (CPI) Instructor training. Must maintain a working knowledge of regulatory standards: Ohio MHAS/TJC/CMS/TRICARE. Must maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and have the ability to communicate verbal and written information in a clear, organized, and positive manner to all age groups.
