Staffing Coordinator/Scheduler

Full-Time Staffing Coordinator - $22/hr - Schedule 8:30am to 5pm

Sunday - Thursday or Tuesday - Saturday

Belmont Village Lakeway is immediately hiring an experienced Staffing Coordinator. This role will be responsible for scheduling shifts for approximately 75 entry level hourly employees in a 24 hour operation using On Shift, our app based scheduling system. Prior comparable staff scheduling experience in a 24 hour operation is required. The Staffing Coordinator will also assist the HR department with administrative functions related to time and attendance in Kronos and will assist with new employee orientation.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

• Coordinate 24 hour work schedules including coverage for call offs and approved time off requests using On Shift scheduling software
• Effectively manage staffing schedules to fairly distribute work hours, keep overtime to a minimum and minimize contract labor hours
• Coordinate new hire training and support new employee orientation process
• Data entry and administrative clerical support related to department supplies, payroll, time & attendance in Kronos.

WHAT ARE THE QUALIFICATIONS?

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Competent PC skills with knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word
• Proficient reading, comprehension, writing & mathematical ability
• Good organizational, communication and relationship building skills
• Experience creating staff schedules for multiple work groups on multiple shifts in a 24 hour work environment
• Experience with time clock, timekeeping and employee self-service software
• Friendly, creative, cheerful, and approachable
