Service Technician
Are you a Licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist who is ready to work with America’s Best Retailer 2022 for Hearing Care?
At Beltone, we are passionate about delivering the gift of hearing. Our hearing healthcare practice is seeking a highly motivated, compassionate individual to join our team and provide quality hearing care to our patients.
The Hearing Care Technician will assist in hearing aid adjustments, repairs, internal prospecting, scheduling, and routine office maintenance. This individual will help build and retain our patient database and increase hearing aid sales. This position is full-time (M-F, 8:30am - 5pm) and on-site. Remote work is not available for this position.
Highlights:
- Meet with patients and conduct routine/annual hearing screenings
- Make ear impressions and molds, order products and supplies
- Fit hearing aids and assist with adjustments, questions, and troubleshoot problems
- Assist with repair and adjustments of hearing aids
- Provide care and use instructions to patients
- Conduct post-fitting orientations and warranty checks
- Maintain patient files and perform clerical duties and other administrative support functions
- Calling to follow-up with patients
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school degree or equivalent
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Audiology Assistant license or Hearing Aid Dispensing license
- Previous sales experience or customer service experience
Preferred Qualifications
- A strong work ethic
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize and handle a high volume of patients
- Work as a team player and be reliable
- Have superior customer service skills
