Position Summary:
We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist, who also has bookkeeping experience to support our growing company. This individual will primarily work in HR and purchasing, but will also support our AR department as needed. Organization and ability to work independently are imperative for this role.

Human Resources
- Establish hiring and employee development plan for the company
- Review resumes for open positions, set up phone screens and interviews
- Assist HR Director with setting up new employees in HR management system
- Process new hire paperwork and scan into employee files.
- Maintain all employee files
- PTO and Timecard review and management for all departments
- Process bi-weekly payroll
- Review and update job descriptions
Purchasing and Accounts Payable
- Scan and process invoices through company's workflow and accounting system
- Process all purchase orders - order products, enter PO into accounting system and scan paperwork associated to the order
- Ensure purchase order requests and processes are followed
- Timely follow up on open purchase orders
- Maintains supplies through distribution and purchases (best priced)
- Locate and purchase special items as needed
- Supply counts for multiple storage rooms (weekly and bi-weekly counts)
- Ensure that associates follow all supply protocols
- Ensure that the supply room is kept in an organized and understandable manner
Accounts Receivable
- Post ACH, wire and check payments from customers when needed
- Make follow up calls on expiring credit cards when needed
- Maintain loss/damaged shipping claims spreadsheet - File claims as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma and at least 2 years of college
- Experience: At least two years of experience as a bookkeeper, one-year experience in collection and computer experience
- Skills Set: Good written and verbal communication in English, strong organizational skills, and a basic knowledge of office equipment
- Physical: Ability to sit/stand for 8 hrs., ability to view a computer screen 8 hrs., ability to lift 30 lbs. and general physical activity are required
- Other: The ability to learn new things, multitask and follow company policies
Preferred Qualifications:
- Education: BS Degree in Accounting or Business Administration
- Experience: At least two years’ experience in bookkeeping and/or accounting, at least one-year in inventory control, at least one year in collections and one year of computer experience.
- Skill Set: Strong knowledge of office equipment and computer skills
- Other: Confidential person, positive attitude, ability to be impartial when it comes to managerial decisions regarding fellow co-workers and understanding the overall goal of the company and the impact that this position has when it comes to achieving that goal
