Medicare Sales Supervisors will assist with daily operations and manage a team of ~20 Medicare Sales Agents. The Sales Supervisor is responsible for the team productivity, quality, and efficiency of the team, identifying and resolving routine issues, and partnering with leadership to ensure overall Sales Team objectives are being met. The Medicare Sales Supervisor will be responsible for training, motivating & coaching sales agents, assisting with escalated sales calls, monitoring client/agent interactions (calls and emails), managing daily workload and schedules (e.g. dress code, attendance, adherence, etc.), gathering data and reporting metrics and results to leadership team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develops, motivates, evaluates and coaches Sales Team on work procedures, sales techniques and performance goals. Is visible and available to staff to answer questions, monitor calls, resolve escalated calls and give ongoing consistent feedback.
• Assesses individual sales agents and team performance on a regular basis and provides candid, professional and timely feedback regarding developmental and training needs.
• Schedules formal one-on-one meetings to review and discuss performance; goal attainment and career development.
• Supports team of sales agents on calls with system, policy, program and procedure knowledge.
• Manages and monitors daily workflow and reporting to ensure business objectives are maintained and accurately reported.
• Develops and maintains strong collaborative relationships with constituents and internal business partners to maintain excellent lines of communication and share resources to meet common company-wide objectives.
• Use reporting tools, product knowledge, and sales strategies to coach, mentor and motivate sales agents.
• Observe calls, accurately score the clients experience and provide professional coaching feedback to improve employee performance
• Effectively communicates compliance requirements to agents and escalates compliance observations/risks to the Compliance department.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• High School Diploma required; advanced education in an applicable field preferred
• 1-2 year track record of successful sales; with evidence of progression preferred.
• Proven experience as a Sales Supervisor leading high-volume, high quality sales teams.
• Knowledge and/or experience in Insurance Sales (Insurance Producer's License preferred) or in highly regulated industry, preferably in a Contact Center environment.
• Must be positive & outgoing with proven leadership skills managing high-performance teams
• Effective analytical, critical thinking, communication (written, listening and oral) and organizational skills
• High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and information
• Effective time management and organization skills
