BenjaminX is Midwest’s premium small freight delivery and expediting Firm. Our carrier team of nearly 50 drivers work out of vans and cars, not semis or trucks. We have two central hubs, one in Waterloo, Iowa and one in Davenport, Iowa. We also accommodate carriers throughout Iowa, Wisconsin, and Illinois. We specialize in same-day, critical delivery solutions for the Medical, Industrial and Financial sectors. Junior Logistics Coordinator Summary
· Manages both customer and carrier relationships and ensures the expectations of each job are understood and met.
· The logistics office is the primary hub for all communication and serve as ambassadors for all services within our company.
· This position is tasked with negotiating and bidding the spot small freight market to secure loads when drivers are idle. This fast paced environment requires a high amount of reasoning, math and excellent typing and communication skills.
· Learns our management software and uses it effectively to implement, track, and complete deliveries from beginning to end.
· Gathers information needed to complete daily and weekly reports.

We are a small, entrepreneurial and incredibly effective office with a handful of people. Our modern office setting is nearly paperless with computers which are never more than 2 years old. All our desks are sitting or standing desks with choices. Choose to sit in a chair or on a ball. Stand on a matt or rocking platforms to challenge your legs, or walk on a treadmill while you work. Some desks have a hammock option under your desk. The yoga room is available before or after your shift or take your lunch break with a bit of Zen. Of course, coffee is free and abundant.
