Service Administrator Job Summary

Opportunity to use exceptional skills and knowledge to support overall business goals. Will work very close with management team to provide insight on overall shop operations.

Service Administrator Responsibilities

• Work with management team to help assign proper techs to complete tasks.
• Participate and complete Manufacturing training to obtain certifications.
• Help assure staff is working safely, accurately, and efficiently.
• Provide input on Technicians development.
• Mentor technicians to provide guidance to enhance their overall development.
• Update customers to status of repairs and maintenance.
• Process repair orders and paperwork

Service Administrator Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Ability to work safely and promote safety in the workplace.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Ability to use PC to update work order status and explain maintenance and repairs.
• Ability to monitor multiple reports and control time management
• Ability to explain verbally and written form the status of work orders.
• Ability to keep management aware of any concerns on floor.
• Must be dependable.

Service Administrator Requirements

• ASE Certifications, preferred but not required. Goal would be to have this individual fully certified.
• At least 2 years of automotive or commercial truck service advisor experience required
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills 
• Excellent customer service skills
