DESCRIPTION
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for Social Media, Digital Marketing and Content as well as assisting the Director of Sales & Marketing (DOSM) in day-to-day management of all creative and marketing initiatives across the company’s divisions (consists of a boutique hotel with restaurant/bar).
We are searching for a highly-creative marketing manager to work closely with the DOSM. In this position, your central goal is to help grow our brand’s influence locally while also increasing brand loyalty and awareness.
Your duties will include planning, implementing, and monitoring our digital marketing campaigns across all digital networks. Our ideal candidate is someone with experience in marketing, art direction, and social media. In addition to being an outstanding communicator, you will also demonstrate excellent interpersonal and analytical skills.
Marketing Manager Responsibilities:
- Assist with day-to-day management of all creative initiatives—including large scale, multi-platform creative campaigns, partnership and product launch assets, experiential deliverables, web assets, product design, packaging, and more.
- Own project management of campaign calendars by ensuring effective cross-functional communication between the Creative and Marketing efforts
- Ensure collaborative creative concepting and routing between the different Creative teams and efforts to ensure all deliverables are strategically and visually cohesive.
- Review all creative materials with a detailed and strategic eye to ensure they're error-free, on-brand and align with the goals of the brief.
- Proofread all copy and assist in the development of content strategy and messaging
- Design and oversee our marketing database, email, and display advertising campaigns
- Develop and monitor campaign budgets.
- Plan and manage our social media platforms (IG, FB, etc.)
- Plan, create and manage blog posts for Hotel and Restaurant/Bar
- Prepare accurate reports on our marketing campaign’s overall performance.
- Coordinate with advertising and media experts to improve marketing results.
- Identify the latest trends and technologies affecting our industry.
- Evaluate important metrics that affect our website traffic, service quotas, and target audience.
- Work with the DOSM to brainstorm new and innovative growth strategies.
- Oversee and manage all contests, giveaways, and other digital projects.
Marketing Manager Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a digital marketing or advertising position.
- In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms, best practices, and website analytics.
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, Word Press and JavaScript is required.
- Highly creative with excellent analytical abilities.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in digital marketing.
