Position Overview:
The Compensation Analyst will be a key contributor of the development and administration of our employee compensation program. This role will ensure our team members are competitively compensated in the areas of base pay and bonus potential.
Responsibilities:
- Key contributor with the development of the compensation program and guidelines
- Prepare and maintain job descriptions to ensure they accurately reflect the duties, responsibilities and skills of the roles and identifying FLSA status
- Conducts job analysis to determine appropriate salary level according to compensation guidelines and policy
- Reviews proposals for new or revised classifications to determine appropriate salary grade assignment
- Benchmark data and participate in salary surveys to analyze results to determine organization's market relationship. Prepares and presents summary reports
- Manages compensation vendor relationship and keeps up to date on enhancements to maximize efficiency and functionality
- Oversee annual compensation process in K-Pay
- Manage annual bonus program
- Prepares and maintains compensation program related data in HRIS
- Develops recommendations to adjust salary structure in response to changing organizational needs and market values
- Assists with reviewing compensation for M&A activity
Qualifications:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in HR, finance or business preferred
- Minimum one year experience in the design, delivery, and analysis of compensation programs
- Knowledge of human resource laws and regulations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office including advanced skills in Excel
- Experience with UKG Workforce Ready or similar HRIS programs preferred
- Experience working with Pay Factors/Pay Scale preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong analytical thinking and math skills
- Compensation studies or certification helpful
