The Ideal Candidate is:
An organized and competent professional with strong communication skills, undertaking a variety of day-to-day office and clerical tasks. You are confident dealing with individuals at all levels, with a wide variety of backgrounds, and have the ability to carry out administrative duties with accuracy and speed. A computer-literate self- starter who can use their initiative, able to multitask and manage multiple projects.
You have the ability to work well both on your own and as part of a team, with a focus on quality and efficiency. The goal is to ensure that office operations are streamlined, adding maximum value to the Berkeley Hillel office. Previous experience working within an Operations or Finance Department would be an advantage.

What you’ll bring to the job:
- Working closely with student development intern to process donations
- Familiarity with a database management system, preferable Salesforce
- Proficiency in mail merge data manipulation in both Salesforce and Excel
- Proficiency in Microsoft office package
- Using the Chart of Accounts to code and process bills and invoices
As the Office Manager a typical day may include:
- Placing food orders for weekly meals and programs
- Processing donations
- Printing and mailing Thank You notes
- Monitoring Supply inventory and placing orders
- Working with the COO to streamline business processes and support staff
- Taking notes at weekly staff meetings and quarterly board meetings
Job Type: Part-time, 20 hours/week with added hours based on organizational need and candidate interest. Hours are flexible with remote options possible for the right candidate.
Salary: $25-30 per hour, commensurate with experience
Experience:
- Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel: 2 years (Preferred)
- Administrative experience: 3 years (Preferred)
- CRM Database experience, preferably Salesforce
- Familiarity with Expensify, Quickbooks, Dropbox, Canva, and Mailchimp a plus
