Viable Candidates will:
Have the ability to schedule and manage the Vice President's calendar consistent with the strategic needs for the College and its constituents and stakeholders.
Possess strong communication skills, including drafting, editing and preparing materials for presentations.
Have the ability to be judicious, tactful and discreet, always maintaining confidentiality.
Support the Vice President of Institutional Advancement, and the BCC Foundation Board by capturing salient meeting information and minutes including items requiring follow up.
Have the ability to connect and communicate with alumni, community partners and various constituencies of the College on behalf of the Vice President.
Possess research skills to support compilation and analysis of information for the senior leadership coupled with the ability to prepare and maintain complex interrelated files and records.
Duties include:
Document and create a book of standard procedures for the Office of Institutional Advancement.
Research alumni to update biographically data in the donor database.
Co-manage finances through Fundriver and assist in processing gifts and/or accounts payable/receivable between BCC and BCC Foundation, when necessary.
Manage weekly payroll and maintain reports for Vice President.
Update donor database with both the President & VP contact reports and biographical information.
Review and run weekly summary contact reports for IA for all prospect managers and President.
General technology knowledge including word processing, PowerPoint presentations, database management, spreadsheet compilation, expense reporting and corporate purchasing.
Organize and distribute information as requested by VP or independently using common sense judgment and forethought.
Administer Teams portal for information sharing on community development projects between VP and IA staff.
Compile confidential information and prepare PowerPoint presentations for speaking engagements, meetings and events with internal and external constituencies.
Research prospects as needed by President and VP of IA
Coordinate conference/meeting room set up, order catering, make logistical arrangements and schedule department events.
Staff events as needed to support registrations and check in processes.
Compile, manage and organize travel and expense reports processing and submitting reports for reimbursement.
Job Requirements:
3-5 years of experience providing high level administrative support
Proficiency in Word, Excel and Powerpoint
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects effectively and meet deadlines with attention to detail in fast paced environment.
Ability to work collaboratively as a part of a team
Ability to maintain appropriate confidentiality
Ability to learn and use new software and emerging technologies
Ability to work effectively in an environment that requires adherence to college, state and federal regulations, policies and procedures
Ability to maintain open and welcoming environment with diverse populations, while respectfully communication and observing appropriate guidelines.

Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year; full-time; benefited
