Merchandisers work in local stores to keep products fully stocked and rotated on the shelves. This position is primarily responsible for maintaining product availability and freshness of product available to the consumer through rotation.
Job Responsibilities:
Maintains product in shelves, displays, and coolers by identifying replenishment needs
Transports product between backroom and display floor manually or with equipment provided (for example, pallet jack, dolly) utilizing hand tools; replenishing, facing, and rotating product; building, changing, and taking down product displays
Maintains product signage and cleaning product space.
Manages backroom by organizing and consolidating product backstock
Identifies, monitors, and reports backstock inventory levels
Re-packing product; organizing backroom materials (for example, pallets, product shelves)
