Purpose and Essential Duties
The Senior Site Coordinator (SSC) is responsible for managing site activities associated with the Engineering scopes of work for an Integrated Solutions (IS, a.k.a. Energy-as-a-Service) project throughout the EPC/delivery life cycle. The SSC is also the site representative for all Engineering scopes of work and is the primary interface for coordination with non-Engineering on-site trades and disciplines. In addition, the SSC performs and/or manages Engineering site activities such as site surveys and QA/QC. The SSC is expected to comply and contribute to project processes and standards, as defined by the Engineering Project Management team.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Support off-site project leadership (Engineering Project Executive and Project Manager) as the primary on-site presence for assigned projects.
- Perform all site coordination activities for assigned projects, including:
- Coordinate all Engineering site activities;
- Interface and communicate with 3rd party entities and resources on site;
- Coordinate with and perform tasks for off-site technical and leadership teams;
- Perform and manage QA/QC activities
- Provide oversight for or perform additional duties including health and safety, quality assurance, procurement, scheduling, subcontractor management, and others, as assigned.
- Partner with and/or lead other team members and sub-consultants to ensure project objectives are met.
- Perform as an on-site consultant to address construction coordination issues.
- Engage with design, construction, and other technical teams as needed to address issues.
- Comply and contribute to continued improvement of project processes and standards.
- Partner with project support staff which may include project controls specialists and assistant project managers.
- Regularly communicate with other on-site teams from 3rd parties (other trades, subcontractors, consultants, etc.) and ensure regular updates are effectively communicated throughout the duration of the project.
- Participate in relevant organizations for networking and professional development.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by Company Leadership.
This position is Full-Time, Exempt, and reports to the Vice President, Engineering Project Management.
Required Education, Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical, engineering, construction management, or related discipline
- 10 years of progressive experience working in a construction environment
- Demonstrated experience in leadership and management of construction/trade teams
- Strong demonstrated skills in technical analysis, organization, and planning
- Proficient in standard office software such as Microsoft Word and Excel
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Education, Experience and Qualifications
- 3 years as a foreman, superintendent, or project manager
- Licenses in one of the following trades: mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC controls
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- OSHA 30 certificate
Travel Requirements
- 50-100%, to the assigned job site
- For a majority of IS projects, EPM SCs will be assigned to a single IS project and regularly report to site.
- For long term assignments, this role may require temporary or permanent relocation to the project location, or a local hire.
Physical/Work Environment Requirements
- Ascending and descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and the like

- Moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces such as roof hatches and tight mechanical rooms
