Position Summary
The Practice Management Coordinator oversees the conflict check process and file opening. This position reports to the General Counsel and supports the General Counsel and Section Heads on firm legal, ethical, insurance and practice management issues. The Practice Management Coordinator also manages the Firm’s CLE programs and tracks attorney CLE hours.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee and document the conflict check process
- Coordinate with General Counsel and Section Heads on the resolution of potential conflicts
- Develop and manage a system for consolidated file opening in the Firm’s practice management and billing system
- Support General Counsel and Section Heads in onboarding and offboarding lawyers
- Manage CLE credits for Firm’s attorneys and obtain approval for Firm’s CLE programs
- Assist Section Heads, General Counsel and Business Office with resolving client issues
- Implement ethical screens and legal holds under the direction of General Counsel
Experience and Professional Qualifications
- Minimum three years of criminal and civil experience as a legal assistant or paralegal responsible for client communications, document preparation, file management and billing
- Proficient with legal practice management and billing systems
- Familiar with legal conflict of interest and confidentiality principles
- Highly organized, able to develop processes and manage compliance
- Proficient with Word, Excel, and Adobe.

Salary is commensurate with experience. This company offers a competitive base salary plus health benefits and paid leave. This is a full-time hourly position.
