Treasury Analyst

We are currently seeking a Treasury Analyst for our Sugar Land, Texas facility. Employee must be able to identify problems, solve them, act decisively and show good judgment. Isolate causes from symptoms, and compile information and alternatives to illuminate problems or issues. Involve others as appropriate and gather information from a variety of sources. They find a balance between studying the problem and solving it. The position also includes running and reconciling various reports on a weekly and monthly basis, as well as assisting with auditor requests. Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000 Commensurate with Experience Key Duties & Responsibilities • A working knowledge of finance and collections. • Respond timely to requests and questions from other departments including Sales, Customer Service, Billing, and Finance/Accounting. • Initiate and process write-offs, bad debt recoveries, and credit memos. • Research and resolve customer disputes, payment issues, and debit memos. • Create and maintain credit files and reporting to credit reporting agencies. • Understand the challenges and recurring issues of problem accounts and take actions to avoid further delinquency. • Cash Applications and maintaining Cash reconciliation spreadsheets Month End Close process. • Reconcile cash accounts in accordance with close schedule. • Monitors the credit risk associated with customer accounts. • Good working relationships with customers and the sales team. • Coordinates credit and collection activities with management, sales, and accounting. • Manage credit investigations, credit file maintenance, and written correspondence to applicants. Skills: • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. • Must have strong analytical & problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to utilize appropriate analysis, judgment, and logic. • Ability to leverage interpersonal skills to establish rapport and develop relationships with customers and colleagues. • Must be detail-oriented, organized and possess an analytical approach to solving problems. • Proficiency in Excel and Word, along with experience working in a large ERP software system. • Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance • 3 years’ experience analyzing financial statements in a commercial collection environment • 5 years’ experience reconciling accounts receivables and managing dispute claims • Good interpersonal, listening, verbal and written communication skills We offer competitive pay, a well-rounded benefit package including health insurance and 401k retirement plan with company match, and a great working environment.
