Marketing Intern

Role Overview

The Betenbough Companies Marketing Intern assists with the planning and implementation of marketing campaigns for all Betenbough Companies' brands.

Core Functions

• Conduct market research.
• Assist with sponsorship management, social media planning and digital asset management.
• Learn and implement best practices for branding and design.
• Assist with the copy writing for emails, social media and other digital content.
• Assist with the preproduction and day of production for video projects.
• Assist with other marketing tasks as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Recently graduated or pursuing a degree in a marketing-related field -- Marketing, PR, Graphic Design, Video Production, etc.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in social media planning and scheduling.
• Experience in copywriting, graphic design, and/or video production.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

• Office environment
• Vision for near, mid-range and far as well as hearing for low, medium, and high pitch.
• Requires physical ability for standing, sitting, crouching, kneeling, frequent walking, reaching above head and below waist.
• Must have a current and valid driver’s license and must be able to be insured by company fleet insurance.
• Ability to lift 5 - 20 pounds.

Hours and Schedule

• Summer Internship: May/June through August, 2022
• Hourly/Non-Exempt 
• Average 40 hours per week (8am-5pm, M-F).
• No evenings or Sundays.
• Minimal travel required for company events and inter-region collaboration.
