Position Status: Part Time, 20 hours weekly requiring Sunday Mornings
Responsible to: Bethel Kids Ministry Director
Position Summary: To provide administrative support to Richland Bethel Kids Ministry
Qualifications:
- Attitudes/Disciplines Skills
- Bethel Member Computer literate
- Growing in discipleship Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite and/or Google Suites
- Encourager Optional: WordPress, Adobe Illustrator & InDesign
- Responsible/Independent Hands-on approach to ministry
- Learner/Teachable Ability to multitask, Scheduling
- Positive, can-do attitude Able to handle production changes
- Team Player
- Flexible
- Organized and able to coordinate a busy (sometimes chaotic) Ministry with high volume peak work times
Responsibilities include:
- Administrative support for special events
- Attend team meetings as well as meeting with Bethel Kids Director
- In charge of rover sheets for Welcome Booth, Bethel Connect and Coordinators. Printing, distributing, and filing as needed
- Effectively communicate information to both parents & servers, also upcoming events and changes in Kids Ministry to all Connectors, also post and email Connectors schedule
- Designed modern postcards, posters and other printed materials that are not submitting through the creative team request
- Database input (attendance, check-in, servers and promotions)
- Manage all volunteer forms (background checks, volunteer applications, wwm policy)
- Mailings with the help of workroom
- Other admin duties as assigned, as well as covering front desk breaks on a schedule rotation
- Make “Welcome” and “Goodbye” posters for KidMin doors leading outside
