What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Grinder position at Better Edge?
Better Edge is looking for Full-Time Grinder to join our team in Scottdale, PA.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and Program OD grinders to prepare carbide blanks for Manufacturing
- Visually and Dimensional inspect ground parts
- Clean and maintain equipment and area around machine
- Work in a team environment to complete tasks in a timely manner
- Operate Cut-off saw and Surface Grinder
- Use hand tools to perform tasks
- Follow all safety rules and regulations (e.g., proper use of protective gear)
- Maintain excellent work habits and high productivity levels
- $15 an hour if you have no experience
- Hours for Night Shift are 10pm-6a.m.
Experience:
·1-2 years of grinding experience preferred, but not required.
Special Consideration for those with experience with Rollomatic or Tru-Tech OD Grinders
·Ability to read prints and understand instructions preferred.
·Ability to follow directions and perform assigned tasks effectively.
·Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
