Job Description for Better Living Solutions Recovery Center
The Role
The Registered Dietitian is primarily responsible for overseeing the nutritional well-being of our clients. Collaboration with physicians, therapists and other members of the multidisciplinary team is necessary in order to tailor dietary services and improve patient outcomes. The Registered Dietitian should be a great communicator, critical thinker and leader.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Registered Dietitian is responsible for the following:
- Provide dietary services in accordance with company guidelines, state and federal laws and regulations
- Develop nutrition plans and implement interventions based on knowledge of client’s current health
- Complete medical nutritional assessments and treatment plans for each client and adapt nutrition plans as needed
- Implement personalized, age-specific and culturally appropriate nutrition strategies
- Deliver client nutrition recommendations to physicians, therapists and other members of the multidisciplinary team
- Provide nutrition education and counseling for clients and their supporters
- Participate in clinical treatment team meetings
Eligibility, Skills & Experience
The Registered Dietitian at Better Living Solutions Recovery Center must meet the following criteria:
- Must be a Registered Dietitian in the State of Florida
- Evidence of Professional Liability Insurance
- At least one year of related experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition, Dietetics or related field
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Experience with data entry and data analysis
- Strong problem solving, project management and organization skills
- Clearance from a Level II Background Check with the State of Florida

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
